Solar Inverter (String/Grid-Tie): Only converts DC power from solar panels to AC power for load use or export to the grid. It cannot manage a battery storage system. It stops working during a grid outage.
Hybrid Inverter:Combines the function of a solar inverter and a battery inverter. It can manage solar power, charge/discharge batteries, power the load, interact with the grid, and typically provide backup power during outages. It offers more energy management flexibility.
1.Energy conversion and management:Coordinate pv,grid and batteries to achieve energy optimization.
2.On-grid & Off-grid switching:Support on-grid and off-grid modes. In the event of a grid failure, the inverter will automatically switch to the off-grid mode within 10 ms.
3.Support remote control of DG.
1.Energy Independence: Maximizes self-consumption of solar energy by storing excess for later use.
2.Backup Power: Provides power during grid outages.
3.Grid Support/Management: Can feed power back to the grid or reduce grid dependence based on settings and tariffs.
4.Single Device Solution: Combines solar inversion and battery management in one unit, often simplifying installation and monitoring.
5.Flexibility: It can be flexibly configured according to different systems.
1.Converts DC electricity from solar panels into usable AC electricity.
2.Directs excess solar energy to charge a connected battery storage system.
3.When solar power is insufficient (e.g., at night or cloudy days), it can draw stored energy from the battery, convert it to AC power.
4.It can also draw power from the grid to charge the battery or power the load when solar/battery is insufficient.
5.Manages the flow of power between all these sources (solar, battery, grid, loads) based on settings, priority, and availability.
Yes, in the grid-connected mode, the hybrid inverter can operate without a battery. They will convert solar DC to AC to power load or feed excess power back to the grid. The battery functionality is optional.
A hybrid inverter is a device that combines the functions of a solar inverter (converting DC power from solar panels to AC power) and a battery inverter (managing the charging/discharging of a battery storage system). It can intelligently manage power flow between solar panels, batteries, the grid, and loads.
For other special malfunctions, please directly contact after-sales personnel for assistance in inspection.
Analysis:The battery current is greater than the upper limit of the AC output current.
Solution:Check the maximum discharge current of the battery and adjust the max current discharge value in the protect parameters
