Thailand's Ministry of Energy and ATESS Power Deepen Strategic Partnership to Advance New Energy Growth

On 20th Jan 2026, ATESS Power had the honor of hosting a 20-member delegation led by Mr. Nunthanis Wongvatana, the Deputy Director General of the Department of New and Renewable Energy, Thailand Ministry of Energy. This visit marks another key engagement following the two parties’ prior successful collaborations, accelerating China-Thailand partnerships in the new energy sector.

The delegation conducted an on-site inspection of ATESS Power’s energy storage solutions and full product portfolio, gaining detailed insights into core areas including technological R&D, product performance, and project implementation. During the discussion session, both sides held in-depth talks on critical topics such as technical adaptation, scenario applications, and cooperation models for the Solar-Powered Hospital Project and Agricultural Solar Water Pump Project. The Thai Ministry of Energy delegation highly commended ATESS Power’s technical capabilities, product reliability, and professional services in previous collaborations, explicitly expressing intent to partner on the two flagship projects. They also noted plans to expand the scope of cooperation with ATESS Power, working together to advance the implementation of more new energy initiatives.

As a key pillar supporting Thailand’s 2050 carbon neutrality goal, the country will launch a dedicated 7.5-billion-THB new energy investment program in 2026, focusing on clean energy substitution and energy structure optimization in critical livelihood sectors—including healthcare, agriculture, rural development, and infrastructure construction. Leveraging its mature technical expertise in energy storage and solar applications, as well as the solid foundation built through prior collaborations, ATESS Power will deeply contribute to Thailand’s new energy industry, providing customized solutions to support local energy security and green economic development.
